Dr. Madison, DNP is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with 15 years in the healthcare industry and 5 years of dedicated research studying cosmetic nurse practitioners. She identified three critical gaps that no one else was addressing at once: cosmetic training that ignores advanced nursing practice, dermatology education that overlooks entrepreneurship, and nursing education that doesn't include skin of color.

What she thought was a delay, spending years in the room with her peers instead of immediately launching her own NP-led business, turned out to be preparation. Watching her colleagues struggle inspired her to pivot from helping patients with their problems to helping nurse practitioners with theirs.

6. I don't have a large social media following. Can this still help me?

11. What is your refund policy?

All membership fees are non-refundable.

Nurses are both investors and one of the most underrecognized investable forces in healthcare. Instead of begging for capital, it's time we invest in one another.

Your membership fees support the Alliance of Cosmetic Nurse Practitioners Founder Scholarship Fund, which provides funding to nurse practitioners building their businesses as entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs.

We do not currently offer payment plans.

About Clinical Focus & Skin of Color Expertise

13. I don't specialize in skin of color. Is this membership still relevant?

Yes, because your patients aren't all white, even if you think they are.

One in three Americans identifies as a person of color. Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation can occur in all skin types. Melasma, acanthosis nigricans, keloids, and hidradenitis suppurativa disproportionately affect patients with darker skin.

If you're doing laser treatments, chemical peels, or injectables on darker skin without proper training, you're risking complications.

You need a baseline understanding of skin of color genetics and advanced anatomy and physiology to practice safely and ethically, regardless of your current patient demographics.

Plus: Less than 5% of dermatologists are Black and Brown. Communities of color are underserved. Build expertise in skin of color dermatology, and you're positioning yourself in a market with massive unmet demand.

14. Do you teach medical dermatology or just cosmetics?

We teach both, because the line is artificial.

You can't provide excellent cosmetic care without understanding medical dermatology. A patient who comes in for Botox and mentions hair thinning might have central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia. A patient seeking chemical peels might have melasma that requires prescription therapy.

Our approach integrates clinical protocols with business strategy so you can deliver comprehensive care profitably.

15. I already took a "skin of color" course. How is this different?

Most "skin of color" courses are weekend webinars focused on recognition without treatment protocols, taught by dermatologists who don't understand your scope and business model, and missing the cultural awareness component.

We teach a year-long curriculum with evidence-based treatment protocols you can implement immediately, business strategy, cultural awareness frameworks, and research literacy, integrated across all 9 Pillars.

But here's what really sets us apart: We don't dump everything at once.
